A painting style I did of my character Lenora, from my hopefully one-day-to-be comic The Fancies.
She got a cool new hat that she wants to show off. There isn't nearly as much detail as I would have liked to put into it, but as it is, this style of drawing/painting/coloring is difficult for me because after I finish the face I get bored and frustrated with the rest of the image. I think I did decently for my first try in this style but criticism is welcome, because I may have made more mistakes than even I can see.
I love the shape of her hair. <3 And somehow she fits with this post apocalyptic setting. XD As for the rest of the coloring, I think it's quite pretty, but also maybe flat. If you put desert colored highlights on her dress, that might improve it ... maybe.... I don't know. : D
Her cane is a bird! Her eyes look a tinsy bit too far apart or maybe just not in her face enough, dunno. Aaaand that's all I can think of, this is absolutely marvelous!

I would put something clever/witty/sarcastic in here, but I couldn't think of anything at the time, and I'm pretty sure if I did it wouldn't be original. Woohoo I have a signature!
