A painting style I did of my character Lenora, from my hopefully one-day-to-be comic The Fancies.
She got a cool new hat that she wants to show off. There isn't nearly as much detail as I would have liked to put into it, but as it is, this style of drawing/painting/coloring is difficult for me because after I finish the face I get bored and frustrated with the rest of the image. I think I did decently for my first try in this style but criticism is welcome, because I may have made more mistakes than even I can see. She's in a desert setting. Woo. Photoshop CS3 and wacom. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
