Also, okay so I love water coloring but I hardly do it because I rarely get the results I want and even when I do, photographing them doesn't really do them justice when I actually feel proud of a piece. That said, I have a normal sized scanner, is there some trick to scanning in really large pieces without bending/ruining them? I'd loooove to hear any tips on that.
Also, my white ink has turned to bullshit and I'm wondering what others who use water colors use for white, since white water color only ever smears and I only use it for mixing. Booork. Thanks in advance if you can help me ;3;

ALSO, I use white acrylic for white in watercolors. Mostly because I'm too cheap to buy ink when I run out. I don't know about scanning and what not though. I'm sort of a novice at this shiz.

I'm on Team: Vampires Don't Sparkle, bitches.
i use different products depending upon what effect i want. is i want to lighten one thing i use this masker thingy i have, i also use white ink when i need too. lately i have been using a polymer mask to keep places i don't want to paint or that i want to stay white paint free and that seems to be helping out the most as i can make things pop...

Is polymer expensive? I can see if Alice has any, though I doubt it since she doesn't do traditional art media. I guess I've been lazy as well. It's easier for me to just paint non-opaque white over something, which I used to be able to do until my crappy ink got all disgusting and useless.
